Midland Rover Owners Club
Midland Rover Owners Club (MROC) is a club of Land Rover owners and enthusiasts in the West Midlands region of England, UK.
We're typically out and about monthly, competing via off-road RTV or CCV trials or socialising via camping & caravan meets, Pub meets or Green Laning.
Excluding Green Laning events, most of our Club activities are within an area 50 miles West & South of Birmingham.

November Trials : Info for the November trials (THIS COMING WEEKEND!) at Newman's Quarry is now included below, together with Entry / Signing-On links
MROC AGM : Next month is our Annual AGM. Please come along. Event details below.
Major's CCV Trial : This year's Major's CCV trial was another success & everybody appears to have enjoyed themselves ! The new site up in Shropshire has lots of variety & the trials sections got lots of praise from the competitors. Big thanks to the Clerks of the Course, event organisers, competitors & the marshals - without all of you, the event wouldn't go ahead as well as it does !
Next years event has been booked with the land owners for 13th & 14th September 2025. Add it to your diaries now !

Tony Hobby : Sadly, we have to report long term member of the Club Tony Hobby passed away on Friday 12th July 2024.
Tony had been a member of MROC for nearly 40 years and was an avid supporter of the club, always lending a hand when needed.
Our thoughts and love go out to his wife Diane and all of the family.

MROC TYRO Trial - Newman's Quarry
TYRO Sat 23rd November, 2024 THIS WEEKEND !
MROC will be organising a TYRO on the Saturday prior to the Timed CCV Trial on Sunday at Newman's Quarry (5 miles East of Moreton in Marsh).

Pre event Signing-On possible (helping us predict attendees), but Signing-On is also possible on arrival.
Driver entry fee is the low cost of £15 per driver.
These are non damaging events, so if you're not sure whether you want to enter, we'd say "just do it" - lol

Timed CCV Trial
Sunday, 24th November 2024 THIS WEEKEND !
Back to Newman's Quarry again for another fun event following on from the previous day's TYRO.
We're not sure if anyone will want to beat Hamish's height from 2021's event !
There'll be a 15 drivers limit, reserves will be accepted in case of drop outs.
Marshals will be required - look at Officials & Marshals webpage if you want more info. Marshal / officials Signing-On is on site on event day.
Entry Booking / Sign-On will be online & PRE EVENT ONLY. Link here .
No Signing-On on event day for the CCV TT, but payment is Cash on the Day (£40 per driver).
